Future Telecommunications: How the FCC assumed authority over the Internet

In 1996, Bill Clinton changed the Telecommunications Act. The bill was rewritten and Reed Hundt—the former chairman of the FCC—had this to say, “The new law assumes that all parts of the communications marketplace can be made competitive. The new law is intended to end the era of big government in communications and begin the era of genuine competition.”

Simply stated, it was never meant to hand the internet over lock, stock, and barrel to the president to do with as he pleases. In fact, the internet is not specified in section (706) which Senator Cornyn says gives the government authority over it.

(a)

General

---The Commission and each State commission with regulatory jurisdiction over telecommunications services shall encourage the deployment on a reasonable and timely basis of advanced telecommunications capability to all Americans (including and in particular, elementary and secondary schools and classrooms) by utilizing, in a manner consistent with the public interest, convenience, and necessity, price cap regulation, regulatory forbearance, measures that promote competition in the local telecommunications market, or other regulating methods that remove barriers to infrastructure investment.

(b)The Commission shall, within 30 months after the date of enactment of this Act, and regularly thereafter, initiate a notice to inquiry concerning the availability of advanced telecommunications capability to all Americans (including, in particular, elementary and secondary schools and classrooms) and shall complete the inquiry within 180 days after its initiation. In the inquiry, the Commission shall determine whether advanced telephone communications capability is being deployed to all Americans in a reasonable and timely fashion. If the Commission’s determination is negative, it shall take immediate action to accelerate deployment of such capability by removing barriers to infrastructure investment by promoting competition in the telecommunications market.

(d) Definition of Advanced Telecommunications Capability: without regard to any transmission media or technology, as high-speed (remember all internet was dial up at this time), switched, broadband telecommunications (it’s talking about radio) capability that enables users to originate and receive high-quality voice, data, graphics, and video telecommunications using any technology.

Basically, the Telecommunications Act governed phone, television, and radio services/utilities. At first glance—knowing that some of the terms are used today for internet—it appears that it is talking about the internet, however, the WWW (World Wide Web) that we know today, did not come into being until 1996-1998 after the bill was written (Arpanet was a much smaller and more expensive net system and not mentioned). Future telecommunications is a very broad term. Wireless communication was governed by the CTIA until recently…so wirless is not even mentioned in the paragraph above, and cell phones used in the 90s were for the most part dependent upon external wired gear.

In very broad terms, your future communications on the phone could be misconstrued as falling under the FCC’s power/governance, and some of it does, even now. Fortunately for Obama, he has the NSA spying on all phone users and has done away with the prerequisite warrant issue—that pesky little bit insuring our privacy in the Constitution as a God-given right. This is rather like the case in congress over Obamacare now; it was meant to do one thing and is being used to give power that was never issued.

Also, it would seem that there would be a need for Obama and his minions to work in-concert with state regulatory commissions, rather than a bill drawn up to suit his highness’ taste and passed by 5 members (3 Democrats and 2 Republicans) of congress. In fact, we have not had representation by our congressmen/women or by our state regulatory commissions in the matter of net neutrality.

Also, one other thing to note while reading the Telecommunications Act is that nowhere does it say that all Americans will receive service for free, but under a price regulation cap. When the government demands that All American’s are to have equal access to the internet, it does mean that some should pay while others are given their service off the backs of subscribers.

Under Obama, laws and acts have been changed without Constitutional process. And so the word comes now that he plans to federalize the police departments, and create climate control laws through EO. Executive Orders are at best, barely legal and Obama is using them to make law. The President of the United States does not have the power to make, alter, or declare a law no longer valid, on his own accord. His power is to suggest and to sign law into existence, or to veto what he feels is inappropriate, such as 40-thousand jobs for American citizens (Keystone Pipeline).

Obama has given—given himself??—powers not allotted a president, because the founding fathers knew too much power corrupts and becomes tyrannical. Obama is a tyrant and now he has used the Telecommunications Act to alter yet another portion of our lives.

What Difference Does it Make?

There’s no point in discussing whether or not Hillary Clinton will do time for a federal crime. That’s like pee-ing in the wind and hoping nothing gets on you, and it’s not relevant. This is a well-orchestrated fantasy tale manufactured by the spin-machine.

We went through 2 years of Lois Lerner’s lost emails. Her computer, so she said, “Crashed”. To wit, who cares? Anyone who has ever used emails knows that a computer crash won’t wipe out your emails. They’re kept on a server. A server can pull up anyone’s emails, at any time. If the committee wants to see Clinton’s personal emails, then subpoena the server. It’s just that simple.

However, the emails they’re looking for did go through a government email-server. The Clinton’s have made a living off a sure bet that they would never do time for any crimes they have committed. They are Democrat royalty and are as Teflon as Obama. Were the emails the investigative committee needs, to surface, Barack Obama would get drug down the toilet with Clinton and that just won’t do. Clinton—living in a delusional land of lunacy—believes she will be the first female president.

Barack—living in a well-constructed media bubble of protection—is not about to be found out, and he’s not looking to leave the White House anytime soon.

Quit looking over there. The truth is out there. Not in some X-Files Bluebook, but in the government server where all things corrupt and criminal get lost. The Clinton team in-concert with the media and Dear Leader are playing everyone for saps. Of course it’s not that hard since the Republicans would rather be saps than standup guys.

I believe that Trey Gowdy is trying to get to the truth, but in the United States that’s like looking for a needle in a haystack wearing plungers on both hands. Truth does not always will-out, and John Stewart—the commie comic—has jump-started the Matrix feed with jokes about the private emails. The loyal Gruber voting base doesn’t care that Hillary and Barack killed good men to cover up one more scandal--it's not like it's Hillary's first kill. All they care about is feeding at the trough of freebies!

Benghazi is this generations JFK Assassination. We will all die before the truth is found. Hopefully, that will be a death from natural causes.

Uncle Penus and His Touchy-Feely Photo-Ops

While the world asks, “Have the Americans become morally-unhinged…” many in this nation are wondering how many more photo-ops we will see with Joe Biden feeling-up some other politician or their wives. There is a photo-collage of Joe skittering around the internet with his numerous victims being handled by a man who would be president were anything to happen to Obama. It’s embarrassing to realize that there have been so many occasions when he could not resist his perversions in public.

“Uncle Penus Strikes Again” would be the headline if the mainstream media were to see a Republican in situations where the women looked dazed and confusion and the politician appeared to be a lascivious predator. “He must be removed…”  notes the NBC anchor as he airs the story of the predatory Republican on the 6 p.m. news. But good ole Uncle Penus—yes, it’s misspelled on purpose—just keeps touching and feeling and kissing women who are not his wife, and some are women whom he has never been introduced to properly. Properly, only God knows what that means in liberal circles.

Despite Obama’s track record as the most out-of-control POtuS of modern times, the thought of Uncle Penus replacing him is somewhat daunting, embarrassing, and a plethora of words that can be found under the X-rated section of Webster’s Unabridged Dictionary. We either have the traitor or the predator, and then there is the possible line of succession with Beohner in as number 3 to take control. That, in itself, is frightening. Is Uncle Penus a better choice for a nation whose moral backbone has been broken?

Many conservatives hear the old line about “respecting the president, vice president, and speaker of the house” and yet respect is earned and none of our government officials has done much in the way of garnering the payoff. Obama lies and lies, and then lies about the lie, while Uncle Penus is either sticking his foot in his mouth, or touching a woman in the most inappropriate fashion. Beohner cries at the drop of a hat, and Pelosi’s attempt to slander others while under the influence of stupidity have become epic. Respecting one’s representative government went out with the horse and carriage, and made a rare appearance in the Reagan years…but not within both parties.

It would be easier to explain that not all Americans are morally-bankrupt if we had a government representative of the tenants on which this nation was founded. However, getting good and moral men and women to run for government offices has become far-more difficult with a media so-willing to prop-up lies with exaggerated tales. Scott Walker shamelessly has women to attractive to be his spokespersons.

Yes, our media did put that out there as a legitimate reason to believe Scott Walker was underqualified and perhaps an indecent candidate for president. That was after the “Oh my God” he doesn’t have an Ivy League degree debacle. Ted Cruz, the Cruz Missile, is just too far to the right for the left-wing media and many of the RINOs (Republicans in name only) he serves with in the Senate. One must remember that a black man running as a Republican possible, was lambasted, accused, and made to leave the race due to numerous women represented by Gloria Allred—yes the same woman who is after Bill Cosby now—in 2012’s run-up to the presidential race. Never mind that the women, Allred, and the stories were discontinued as soon as Mr. Cain exited the race. Shear proof that it doesn’t have to be true, it just has to be effective.

Among those to face public condemnation, this week, was Prime Minister Netanyahu. How dare he tell the truth about any possible deal with the Iranians that Obama might be considering. Our media will go after good men for weeks at a time, but dismiss those like Uncle Penus who truly should be removed from office.

The answer to “Are Americans morally unhinged” lies in the day-to-day lives of the average American. We’re not like Uncle Penus and his touchy-feely photo-ops, nor are we like Obama and his lies upon lies, and his deals with devils. We don’t cry easily and make a fool of ourselves and most don’t practice the fine art of getting snocker-ed off our rocker and giving inane and immensely stupid answers or quotes to the media about the other party and their heinous acts to keep a dictator from making a deal with the Iranians allowing them to develop the ability to wipe Israel off the map. We are not, despite the world’s perspective, morally unhinged. However, given the first foot forward appearance of our non-leadership government, it would appear that we’re lost.

Hopefully, even with what is becoming a Constitutional Crisis, we will rid ourselves of the tinge of immorality that has overtaken our nation under a liberal government.

Congressional Cop-Out or Corruption: What is Next

All the talking heads, law professors, and even Obama—himself—said that there was no authority for “the president” to act alone on immigration, and yet as of today the House has passed the bill creating funds for an illegal immigration EO. Ted Cruz said that the GOP had planned to give Obama the money, all along. Of that, there can be no doubt.

The underlying problem is much more dangerous and can have consequences to all our lives. Not only will the illegal amnesty create a deficit of $369-billion per year, but it will also keep wages lower for many years to come. While this will not affect Joe Big-Diamonds whose company is riding high off of cheap labor, it will affect every man, woman, and teen working in this country. Under Obama wages have been stagnant for 6-years. Unemployment numbers have been juggled to reflect a false perception of jobs lost and the jobs gained—stated to be 500-thousand a month to recoup the loses since 2008—and have been a maximum of 300-thousand. Then we learned last month that most were jobs to immigrants and illegals.

However, that aside, the bigger problem is the damage done to our Constitution when the man residing in the oval office decides that no laws apply to him and that he will not follow procedure. Obama has essentially declared himself a dictator and congress no longer relevant. Check your Constitution. That is an impeachable offense, but does our congress and more appropriately John Beohner start the process? No, he gives in like the good lap puppy he has become famous for…he merely trots along, head down, chin in his belly.

We have a very serious situation developing while the media harps on and on about dividing families. They don’t bother to mention that these same families would not be divided had the members not decided to cross our border illegally. In fact, it is well-known that many cross the border to have their babies become citizens so that they have established ties to this country through their spawn and can now milk the American taxpayer of all the benefits available. And to that, the Democrats intend to turn them into their new voter base.

They have to, because after years of Roe v Wade decimating the black community, the Democrats are watching their future sucked from the womb of their female constituents. The Democrats started out with Margaret Sanger’s ideology of extermination and realized too late that they were also limiting and exterminating a willing Democrat voter population. Furthering the damage were those in the black community who woke up to what was being done and decided it was time to stop the march toward self and community annihilation. Of course, I will be labeled a racist for having stated a fact, because the liberals hate truth.

The white supremacists of the Democrat Party have become overly angry and totally intolerant of those they perceive as selling out to the “white man.” Many of the black conservatives have lost friends, family, and have been slander by the party that swore they had “their best interest” at heart. In the 2012 elections, only 87% of blacks voted for Obama, and the long-held ideology by the white liberal was proven wrong.

The Democrats have new victims in their grasp now and will assume that the illegals they give amnesty will cherish their charity and devotion to their cause. Because, it is after all, love that they are spreading to the illegals, just as they loved the black community. Unfortunately, the party of Abraham Lincoln has been high-jacked by corrupt politicians with only one purpose in mind, to maintain their seats in congress and to achieve the eventual goal of all who enter the halls of Congress; to become President of the United States. Yes, they too now believe that the illegals will become their voter base, although it seems highly unlikely as Mexico is more or less a socialist country bordering on communism. How often do those raised in such society reject the ideology?

What will eventually happen is that the Democrats will alienate the black community through their expectations that no black man or woman will ever vote for a Republican, and by taking their votes and their lives for granted. Many of those who voted for Obama are now questioning their votes, because he has placed them and their needs behind the illegal aliens. While the Democrats came from the south, originally, they have moved on to greener pastures and left behind a legacy that is false in perception. Racism is not a southern problem, but a party problem. The majority of southerners come from every race and ethnicity the world has to offer and we have one common trait. We work for a living and none of us, regardless of color or ethnicity, cares to have our hard-earned incomes taken “because it’s the right thing to do” as Obama recently said.

More importantly than having our wages confiscated, is the need to be free from big government. We don’t need the government. The government needs us. We have the money and they need to take it to keep their fat backsides from actually having to ever do a day’s labor. Each of the two parties is vying for the illegal’s vote. Each is throwing the American citizen under the bus for their own prosperity and future. So ask yourself, are the Republicans copping-out, or are they simply corrupt? Don’t bother with Independents. They sold out long ago.

What everyone needs to ask themselves is what happens once our Constitution has been stomped on and labeled null and void? What happens when Obama decides he doesn’t want to leave the White House in 2016? After all, the only document that can make him leave is the document he has been wiping his proverbial backside on for the last 6-years.

What happens?

Cop-out or corrupted, our government no longer serves us.

Quit Giving Obama a Pass

After reading several articles today, most of which were pushed ahead of actual news, I then watched Bill O'Reilly giving Obama another pass. Enough already. The rest of us--the people of this nation--are bound by the laws sat forward by our Constitution and added to by the men who call themselves our representative. These are the laws of the United States meant to govern every man, woman, and child to the poorest of the poor and highest office in the land, and with a smirk Obama simply does as he pleases.

Marie Harf suggested that we the people were too stupid to understand her nuanced speech on ISIS where-in she said that these young men would not be so violent if they had jobs and could better their lot in life. Nuanced, no. Code words for Obama's favorite cure for any ill, money. Let's throw money at ISIS and train them to be responsible, non-violent juvenile delinquents. What Harf and Obama failed to mention is that many of the terrorist's leaders are Ivy League graduates whose families are well-off (the 1%).

Friday, February 20th, Jeh Johnson's department offered it's report on the most dangerous people in the United States. These weren't the Muslims training in camps all over this nation, whose intentions are to attack Americans...no. According to Jeh, it's the right-wing extremist that we should most fear. These, he says, are people intent upon killing police, retaliating against government intrusion, etc. In other words, you John-Q Public through any dissension, are the worst of the worst.

Today with 40-thousand American jobs on the line, Obama vetoed the Keystone Pipeline. After 7 years and three reports to determine that the pipeline poses no threat to the environment--because over 40 years of proof from the Alaskan Pipeline weren't enough. He has made his decision. His best choice is to deny employment to American oil workers, just as he is denying employment to coal workers, and many others. He's too busy pushing his low-skill illegals, but potential Democrat voters on to the American taxpayer's back

And tonight, after hearing Obama preach from his bully pulpit about religious tolerance, there was a piece in the news about denying Christians the right together and pray together. Long story short, Islam can pray in the streets of NYC, but Christians cannot pray in back rooms of coffee houses in Florida.

While our media commits a crime by referring to their reportage as news, Obama has started a war against Christianity and no one, not one, not Bill O'Reilly or any other talking head wants to put real news in the news, and tell the truth. Let's bash Rudy Guilliani, Scott Walker, and God knows who else, but no one say anything mean to Obama or--God forbid--tell the truth about what is going on in our nation.

Tomorrow, if the Democrats have their way, people like me will have to watch what we say or the government will remove our right to the internet. Net Neutrality is code word for Government Takeover and Control of the internet. Anything they can regulate, they can tax and control.
